A level three sex offender is getting ready to move into a northern Minnesota town.
Residents in Moose Lake however are more worried about where 27-year-old Dustin Nelson plans on setting up residence.
Nelson is homeless and plans to live along a bike trail in Moose Lake.
Nelson was convicted of sexually assaulting a woman he approached in a park. Authorities say he then held her against her will.
The police chief says Nelson is allowed to live along the trail, as long as he complies with all sex offender requirements.
Police will hold a community notification meeting regarding Nelson's move Monday night.
