There was no stopping defending 1A champ Breck on day one of the Minnesota Boys' High School Hockey State Tournament.
Breck knocked out New Ulm with a score of 11-1.
At one point, Breck scored four goals in a 52-second span in the second period.
In other quarterfinal action, Mahtomedi beat Alexandria 7-1 and Hermantown beat Virginia 2-1.
The last game of the night was a matchup between Warroad and Rochester Lourdes. Warroad shut Rochester out 9-0.
