One Dead After Multi-Car Accident West of Metro

One person is dead after a three vehicle crash just west of the metro.

The State Patrol says a semi crashed into two other vehicles at the intersection of Highway 4 and Highway 19 in Fairfax Friday night.

One of the vehicles was a van carrying eight people, including three under the age of 10.

Police say Jason Petty of Seaforth, Minnesota died.

The driver of the semi was not hurt.
