Bridge Collapse Remembered: Help 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Tell the Story

Bookmark and Share

It’s a day etched in the minds of thousands of Minnesotans.

Sunday marks three years since the I-35W bridge tumbled into the Mississippi river, killing 13 and injuring 145 others.

Governor Tim Pawlenty has ordered all flags to be flown at half staff to mark the tragedy.

At 6:05 p.m. the bridge gave way; in the moments that followed, hundreds of ordinary citizens became heroes.

The collapse has impacted countless people in a myriad of ways.

To mark the anniversary, we’re opening up the storytelling to you, our 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS viewers.

We’ve shared some of what our cameras captured above, but encourage you to tell your story, your memory of that day.
