Cows looking out for their young managed to release a trapped calf after flooding near Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The calf struggled to get to higher ground but was caught in a barbed wire fence below the water.
Two other cows saw this, and managed to lift the fence and allow the calf to escape.
As many as nine inches of rain fell in some parts on the state Saturday.
