She calls it the most frightening moments of her life. A St. Paul woman is recovering after two men stuck a gun to her head and carjacked her around 11:30 Wednesday night near Sylvan Street and Cook Avenue West in St. Paul.
24-year-old Gina Arcand says she's speaking out because she wants her attackers caught and doesn't want what happened to her to happen to anyone else.
Arcand says she was sitting in her car waiting for a friend Wednesday night near Oakland Cemetery. She says two men, who looked to be between 18 and 20 years old, appeared, opened her driver-side door, and stuck a gun to her head.
Arcand says one of the men hit her in the head with the gun and forced her into the passenger seat. One of the attackers got behind the wheel, and the three went on what Arcand calls the most terrifying ride of her life.
Arcand says the ride didn't last long, as her attackers let her out of her 1999 Mazda Millenia a few blocks away. But they took her cell phone, purse, and other valuables.
St. Paul Police tell us they are tracking down leads in this case and are still searching for Arcand's vehicle.
If you have any information in this case, call St. Paul Police at 651-291-1111.
